    Well, most maps have alien-only passageways, and if there <b>was</b> one alien left, hiding in the vents, it would leave the alien base open to be destroyed by the marines, plus you can respawn during rounds, it's not like CS in that respect.

    You'd think that, but it really won't happen.  Marines have lots of stuff to get them into the vents at the end of the game, if need be.  And I'm almost positive that people on the alien team will give away the location of their hiding teammate if it gets too painful.

    The bottom left hive seems too accessable to the marines.  There may be some vertical element planned into that corner, but it looks like the marines could shoot up the hive from the resource point to the north of it.

    It definitely looks like that bottom left hive is the marines easy option.

    Lifts, ladders, etc.  Something that requires climbing or taking a lift up in order to slow people down that are using that area.  Or prevent them attacking a point from a long way off.

    No, it's quite a long trip.  THe minimum time for an alien to get from a hive to a marine start should be 30 secs and it'll take longer than that.

    a lift goes down first then forward then up again so theres like a wall in the way and a underground passage

    Hmmm... looks to me like you may run into some nasty r_speed problems in the hallways adjacent to the central room.

    umm i think the left hive is too easy for marines......
    u gotta put somthin in that corridor that blocks the sight from the first room and the hive one.... coz u can just put a siege gun and open the doors and the hive is doomed <!--emo&:p--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'><!--endemo-->

    Haha an elevator right next to the hive, that goes up and down 2 storeys...a squad of marines packs itself in, the klaxon sounds and the elevator goes rumbling up. The aliens hear this of course, and at the top when the lift goes DING and the doors open...SURPRISE

    one thing i do want to know is why do the aliens get more spawn points (hives) then the humans do??? example it is shown on ure map that the humans get 1 spawn point and the aliens get 3??

    NS is geared up to work with 3 alien hives.  They only start with one hive (chosen randomly), where they spawn.   They can then build the other 2 to get cool upgrades, higher level aliens and spawn there too.  Marines may be allowed to build other bases, anywhere they like, but this is still STC.

    build bases where ever they like? so they can just build one right next to a aliens hive the aliens will have no chance of even getting out the hive!!!

    they can fly,leap,high armor and health combined with a deadly chargin attack, acid spines, bites and all that amazing stuff that they got........ they DO have weapons, and they kick ###....
