You'd think that, but it really won't happen. Marines have lots of stuff to get them into the vents at the end of the game, if need be. And I'm almost positive that people on the alien team will give away the location of their hiding teammate if it gets too painful.
It definitely looks like that bottom left hive is the marines easy option.

a lift goes down first then forward then up again so theres like a wall in the way and a underground passage

they can fly,leap,high armor and health combined with a deadly chargin attack, acid spines, bites and all that amazing stuff that they got........ they DO have weapons, and they kick ###....
