i really think what you are asking for would be better served in a different thread, and not in this one. it does not really have anything to do with what this thread is about. please, if you want to continue, start your own thread.

Exactly why is a thread complaining about how leap currently works not a thread for a suggestion on how leap COULD work?

Not to mention, that was only one suggestion I made of three, and the others weren't anything radical, it's just that's the only one anyone has picked up on.

does fixed means you did what i proposed in the original post in this thread, or was it "fixed" in some other way?

Flayra made the changes so I don't know the details, but from what I gather it's something like what you mention. I don't think he originally intended leap and charge to become weaker in 2.01d, it was just a calibration problem.

    I believe...

Leap should not do any damage (leathal damage) ~4-20 is fine.

Charge should revert to the 2.0 version but without frame dependency.

It was fixed. It will bear no more children.

Yes, leap was fun. I want it back too. (it's really annoying when its easier to get a parasite kill than a leap kill) Go titanium go!

Since everyone has been complaining about the long end game resulting in some games wouldnt it be a good idea to increase the onos charge damage, not just a little but a lot, to break what shouldnt be a stalemate.

Also I have been playing on competitive servers and as soon as the marines started to get upgrades (ie. level 2 guns), skulks become a endangered species by marines you can aim and weave at the same time. Making leap next to useless against good players.

And i spent all this time perfecting my leap to directly hit marines.

I agree- it sounds like Leap would be more fun that way... and fun is fun.

Ok, I've read this thread and nowhere did I read that the new charge was bugged...

And to that I say WTH?!? The 'new' charge is completely useless. You literally have to be pushed up against the marine for 5 seconds to kill him...which is almost impossible to do without sliding off. It is also useless against structures.

I expected to come here and read that "Yes, we know that we messed up the charge and we are going to correct it."

But now I must ask... I haven't read anything indicating the contrary, so... Has marine ROF been taken off of FPS also? I sure hope so..

:EDIT: I take back what I said if Max was referring to fixing Charge in the message a few posts above.
