where do you ppls shop for gamez?
This thread made me wanna go old game shopping, and I was wondering whether there was a good, reliable place to find game bargains online... I always thought chips and bits was supposed to be good, but I went there, found 4 pretty cheap games, and saw shipping would be like 12 dollars. I could get a 5th bargain bin game for that shipping price... Amazon is generally more expensive, but at least their shipping's free... anyway, anyone know a good cheap site to order comp games from?

I'm spamming my own topic, but fyi I just found a good alternative using google's similar pages feature. gogamer seems cheaper than chips+bits, and cheaper shipping too... they don't have system shock 2 though :~( but still, 9 games for 70 bux, including shipping! =P now THAT's shopping. 7 of them are in compilations, but still ...

Personally I use play.com, but methinks that's only for us normal (i.e, British) people.

On the posative side, their games are about £10 cheaper than the shops.

On the negative side, their games normally come out a few weeks late. (and games usually come out a few months late in Europe ANYWAY )
