Hi brywright.co.uk/ns can now host any NS related file. I have a nice 10gb of websapce and am only using a few gb of it <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Simply upload any ns maps to
user:ns pass: uploads via <a href='http://www.brywright.co.uk/downloads/files/index.php?dir=natural-selection' target='_blank'>Download page</a> Switch to the correct directory and then upload via bottom left. Your files will be available automatically.
team-nsa.com is more than happy to host all NS FINIALIZED CONTENT! This includes maps, models, sounds, mods, whatever. Please PM me if you interested got 1200Gigs of transfer to burn got a 1000mbps connection.
We also willing much more bigger files, for mapper, sounds, videos or other things, we have unlimited traffic, so if there is anyone who need space for anything to ns, he can contact me over pm or irc.
Alright this is just an idea already in the works, but just wanting to see what everyone thought. I am making a map site, where it will kinda be like sourceforge.
What I mean by this is mappers can log in (obviously it will be a free account, with simple username/pw/email needed) and they will have an upload area. Now in this area there will be a few choices, either A) create new map project, where you create the name for it (ie ns_example or co_example) you can upload your betas to it, which will be stored in a beta folder with incremented names (ie ns_example_b1 - one option is for me to auto name the maps, and you can just keep em as same name, or you name what you want, looking for input on that) or if you feel your map has hit a final stage you can upload it as a final (with map name ns_example but zipped so zip name will be ns_example_finalV1 thought we would have to do that for updated finals)
or B) there will be a list of all your map projects (pull down bar) you select the map you are uploading, choose beta/final and upload
Finally the site will obviously be searchable and such for people looking for maps, and they can search betas/finals, sort and all that regular junk
So anyone think this is something needed? or just something done before that sucks, or if you think there is a better way to go about this, I am all ears, and open to changes
Oh and I put this underhosting, cause well, it will be free map hosting hahaha (incase some of you were wondering!) Not sure how much BW something like this takes up, I got a nice box, with 4 storage, 120 transfer, so if thats just not enough say so)
I will be happy to host your maps and other custom files at <a href='http://www.blade-soft.com/nr/?module=pafiledb' target='_blank'>Natural Resource</a>

c'mon guys I got 500MB of space waiting for your maps... <!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd--> Is this site going to also come back online <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/confused-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="???" border="0" alt="confused-fix.gif" />

I've always looked at NS World as being one of the Old School in Map releases, and have always had a lot of respect for ChromeAngel for providing the facility.
As well as my own number-7.com Natural Selection Map Archive - Plus nsarmslab and Brys site. There doesnt seem to be an awful lot of other places around anymore that carry a LARGE amount of NS related files for showcasing Maps and stuff. (I'm possibly wrong here- and no doubt I will get flamed from a thousand sites that are doing just that - sigh)
Lets all hope that ChromeAngel is ok and that this is purely a financial blip and nothing else... <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/confused-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="???" border="0" alt="confused-fix.gif" />
fpsbanana seems like its going to be around for a long, long time. Has a really good rating and browsing system, only bad thing is its user base for voting is kinda terrible
