<div class="IPBDescription">Yes, FPS/RTS is taking over!!!</div> As announced at <a href='http://www.s2games.com/' target='_blank'>S2 Games</a>:

August 27, 2003 Savage: The Battle for Newerth has gone gold. The S2 team has produced the best game around thanks to all the help from our beta testers. Look for it in stores in September. <!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->

It looks to be in stores in about 10 days or so. If you haven't followed this, Savage is an FPS/RTS game like NS, but with a much more magical, primeval, 'savage' environment. It has some big differences, with multiple commanders, several kinds of resources, an emphasis on outdoor environments, and looks majorly cool. Throw your backing behind another great looking FPS/RTS hybrid - this genre needs all the help it can get. They say they'll have a demo out in the near future as well.

And if I see a bunch of tiresome fanboy flames on their forums from our readers, you're going to feel the burn here. Teenangsters, it <b>IS</b> possible to like more than 1 game at one time. Really! You should try it!

    Awesome, I've been following it for a while. Going to try out the demo first though.

    I think MonsE is a closet teenangster. Only a teenangster could hate teenangsters so much.

    This game looks majorly cool.

    Is the AWP (I mean uber crossbow) still the game-ender it was at the E3 demo? <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

    I've also been following that game for a while. I was even a beta tester, but it ran at an average of 5-7 fps on my TNT2, so I wasn't able to play much at all. I still support it, though, and will definitely try it again once I get a decent graphics card.

    Will Savage work on a comp with a 124 MB Graphics card, 1.2 GHZ Processor and 512 DDR Ram?

    I remember watching the teaser video to this game about one year ago or even longer. I was during the time I started working at my former job and it was on my mind for about another three months and then I forgot about it because of the time it was taking to finally go gold. Well, here it is and now my mind will be infested with the game for another few months.

    Lets see how it plays...

    (Might have to upgrade my computer)

    Hmm, hopefully they come out with a demo...

    I was debating buying CNC:G, but this might just make me wait and save my money.

    This game will <i>so</i> be mine.

    MonsE is such a <i>teenangster</i>. <b>EAT IT!</b> <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--> <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Yeah, that's fine (phew, at least he didn't ask about Half-Life 2).

    I daresay this game will be fairly coolish. I would like to see how it compares to NS. Considering it was built from the ground up for FPS/RTS.
