August 27, 2003 Savage: The Battle for Newerth has gone gold. The S2 team has produced the best game around thanks to all the help from our beta testers. Look for it in stores in September.

It looks to be in stores in about 10 days or so. If you haven't followed this, Savage is an FPS/RTS game like NS, but with a much more magical, primeval, 'savage' environment. It has some big differences, with multiple commanders, several kinds of resources, an emphasis on outdoor environments, and looks majorly cool. Throw your backing behind another great looking FPS/RTS hybrid - this genre needs all the help it can get. They say they'll have a demo out in the near future as well.
And if I see a bunch of tiresome fanboy flames on their forums from our readers, you're going to feel the burn here. Teenangsters, it IS possible to like more than 1 game at one time. Really! You should try it!

Will Savage work on a comp with a 124 MB Graphics card, 1.2 GHZ Processor and 512 DDR Ram?
Yeah, that's fine (phew, at least he didn't ask about Half-Life 2).
