Sometimes Games Get Really Bad..

<div class="IPBDescription">Like these nade tactics.</div> ns_lost, So I become aliens, go gorge, build some hives, and we finally get 3 hives. However I hardly see marines even try to touch my hives. So then I start my usual sensory building in every possible place on the map until I get the part where there is a wall you must climb over and down to get inside the marine base to the right if looking at the base. Well it was grenade hell and where all the complaining started. It seems the marines camped in base, saved up some res, 8 people got nade launchers, 3 armories, and 3-4 marines are at an armory shooting unlimited amount of grenades. This was bs. Even as you got close the the marine base, you hear an explosions on the other side of the wall, then suddenly you die, WTH??? Anyways this stalemate game lasted 2+ hours and would probably last 5 hours if an admin did not stop it.
I also see the tactic marines in grenade launcher fire. This gets really ugly especially near the weld point of Sat Com in tanith. Marines just camp inside, and build sieges in their own friendly fire grenades. I mean they should be able to take damage from their friend's grenade...
Anyways the "Walking in the fire with grenades" tactic is really lame for me. Not the problem that marines win this way, but common, the aliens have no chance to win at all, even an onos can't walk in without dieing in 2 sec, and dieing in 2 sec and collecting 100 res for onos for 10 min is harsh... Post your ideas on this tactic.
btw, I think the nades shooting through walls has something to do with the radius increase of damage in new versions.

Yea, this is exactly what happened on lost. It gets even worse when they exploit that armory humping and grenade launcher shooting at the same time, the rate of fire is slower but when +7 other marines do it it wont matter. And the size of the room in lost (Its all open and very very wide) made it impossible for a gorge to bilebomb and not die with turrets or a grenade.
weather they need all 3 hives or not, it doesnt change the fact that you need to kill alll the hives to win. 2.0 is balanced, just harder for marines then aliens. 2.1 will be completly balanced, i hope.
