New Map Again: Ns_anadim

I have a new map again!
The name is ns_anadim!
My question: Is the name okay?!
At first I built the marines start, I think that is the best!
There will be 3 ways to get inside the base!
A vent and 2 other ways!
1 of these ways is fully build with a door!
The other one should not have a door!
The vent is weldable!
There are 2 elevators at the start!

    that looks very nice, but the ceiling looks very unstable. Add some supports on the walls that suggest they hold up the ceiling.
    Use one of the glass textures from the ns.wad the HL ones dont go so well.
    same with the pipes.

    Whoa, Crazy sky lighting, but kinda nice.

    I would suggest making a darkish pink, with some clouds for the sky, makes it one of those... I dunno, Dust Barren Planet looks?

    I like the looks of it. it isn't garishly lit, yet it's bright enough. And glass panels <i>always</i> add class <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Hello to you too!
    Looks like a nice marine spawn overall!
    However, the floor looks a little bland! Add something to break up the diamond pattern!
    Try adding some dips or subtle height changes to the floor!
    Also, the lighting could use some shadows!
    Don't make everything lit so evenly!
    Those overhead windows could cast interesting patterns, if you do it right!

    Good job, though. It has definite promise, especially for a marine start, which is usually the brightest and most open area of the map.

    Looks very nice, this map is probably going to rock!

    But the RT up there is so lonely, it is too hard to climb up there to save it everytime a skulk starts to munch it.

    [edit] Yeah and the supports for the ceiling, and maybe some more visible glass, since it seems like you can go out there anytime you want.
    [edit2] Answer to your question: Where does the name come from? It isn't that bad if it has some sort of meaning.

    idea looks good but lighting is realy bland. Also y suggest a change in the textures.

    But here is it now!
    I made it simple for not so good computers....
    I mean: the level should look good, the ready room not to much...
    Because there is a limit for maximum objects... (4048) or something around that...
    My brother has this problem....

    Ya, and boring too. Do the ready room last after the map is totally complete, otherwise, throughout the betas, make the ready room increably *simple.* After the map is complete, you can add all the gadgets and doodads to the ready room as you like, because the map is finished.

    Maybe have a glass dome on top of the marine start, with support beams running up into it? I dont know, the other glass looks a bit plain and boring.
