<div class="IPBDescription">What a game</div> The server is DSSG [OSS]. The map is ns_hera. My team is Kharaa. Both teams rush for holoroom, and after a little skirmish, we ended up loosing it, and then gaining it back. From there we proceeded to fight for and eventually take Hera Entrance. We've pretty well secured the map, and the marines know it. The upper ledge of the marine start has 2 comm chairs fully built, one at each end to help out with the lumbering oni that are beginning to dot the alien ranks. There are 4 IPs up above, as well as 2 electrified turret factories, 2 armories, and 10 turrets. In addition, there are 2 turret factories hidden in the open box, and a comm chair and 3 IPs on top of another box. The marines are popping out like bunnies on acid, and are pretty much decimating anything that comes into their base. A single lerk manages to fly out onto the landing pad unnoticed. He goes gorge and drops a sensory (we now have 3 hives), and proceeds to build 4 OCs to help him take out the RT as he's bile-bombing it. He makes a great mini-base out there, and I rush in as a regen + celerity + scent of fear onos. Mind you, I don't usually onos unless I'm needed, I prefer to skulk (it's quick), or gorge and stay away from the front lines until I get my gang together. I'm killing marines left and right, but there's no end to the marines popping out of those IPs. I manage to get 30 kills straight before I finally decide to take the plunge and go for an upper TF (I've taken out the IPs and 2 TFs below). I'm killed quickly enough. I have enough to go onos again at this point, and go back, but I die quickly. Again I go onos, and die even faster (I chose carapace on accident, and didn't know till it was too late). These guys have some upgrades! I finally go back after a few $6 bombs, and proceed to jump from 82 kills when I spawned, to a whopping 121 kills. Now, I know some have gotten way more kills than this, but I honestly think it's the first time I've EVER made it past 50, and I average 20-30 kills a game. The bottom line is, the marines were having fun hopping out and killing us, and we were having fun coming back and killing them. They had a really good turret farm built up, but the lack of nade spam made for a fun end-game. Also, they periodically sent out marines to go try to take a hive out, but we usually caught them with SOF before they did any damage.

It was like 20 friends just having a good time in a video game. No one was mad, no one was complaining, it was pure NS-bliss. I want to hear your stories of NS gone RIGHT!

altho I was pretty stoned and had joined midway in the game, someone claimed marines needed a miracle to win from that point on.. well in strolls Nitro the miracle man himself. Under his direction a resigned marine team, a lazy rambo (me), and a capable but newb comm smashed two and a half hive aliens.
Not the most amazing turnaround I've seen, but was funny to demand a miracle and then have him step up to the plate and accomplish.
(Marines still won though:D:D:D:D:D)
I waited in chemical transport right by the hall that leads to the outside (the one protected by the force fiels where the sat array is), I sat in the upper area and waited for my moment.
*clank* *claNK* *CLANK*, they were coming, I could hear them, it sounded like about 4 to 6. They went into the curved hall that leads to chemical transport (where I was waiting) and just before they entered CT I jumped down and rushed at them, I some how avoided the 6 guns all shooting at me at once and made it behind them, they all turned and fired again, but because they had grouped up most of the rnd hit each other.
*UUUUHhhh* one went down, *AHHHhh..* now two are down
*DOOON, DOOON, DOOON* the pistol had come out, due to bad timing and LMG spam, they had all run out of ammo together.
*arrggg..* *ahhh* *uhhhhhhhj..* only 1 was left
I was down to red life, he had a knife out, I darted towards him just as I heard *CHOMP*..*AHHHHhhh..* a fellow skulk had made it in time.
This all happened in about 15 seconds.
The map is ns_nothing, My team is marines. It was some random pub server. We have control of a vast area of the map when I get in, though the aliens still have 2 hives. I'm making the rounds of all of our holdings, and generally ramboing, just to see what we have and if anything is being attacked. I notice they've got viaduct and cargo, so I'm taking the elevator up to generator room, intent on getting away. I see a fatty waltz in, and not really notice what was going on, he waddles over to the res node and drops it. I quickly sneak up on him and (he must have been hurt already) took him out with half an LMG clip. Now, I was going out on my first run, so I had humped the armory fully and completely, so ammo is a good thing. I proceed to kill their RT with my knife, and just when I finish, a skulk rushes me from cargo. I empty my lmg at this little punk, and he's still not dead, but he's coming in quick. I quickly whip out my pistol and 2 shots later, he's dead. *POW* Motion Tracking pops up on my HUD. I see 2 skulks waiting outside for me, so I send out a single pistol bullet and it does the trick. They've been lured out. I use my pistol rist, downing one of them and injuring the other. I quickly switch to my LMG (previously reloaded), and get him just before he's in biting range. At this point I'm down to probably 100 ammo in reserve, 25 in the clip, and I'm still at full health. This went on, with me taking out single skulks until I had no ammo, didn't bother to ask for any, I'd done what I came here to do. I got rushed by 4 skulks and I used my last 13 lmg bullets and my last 7 pistol rounds bringing down one of them. I whip out my knife and crouch, trying to keep track of these guys, and get a knife swipe in on one, and then *CHOMP CHOMP* fade-to-black............
sounds like a standart marine sucking comm stalemate with lots of ips.
one siege and you would hve got 3 times as much kills because the game would have last longer and get worse.
