    Thanks for the deets. I'll wait until it actually goes live tomorrow, though.

    I thought I was the only one running 2K. I thought everyone had changed over to XP by now.

    I personally use both, depending on the PC. I haven't gotten around to installing XP Pro on my primary home PC yet though.

    Bah! Who needs 2K or XP when you have 98? <!--emo&:p--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'><!--endemo-->

    I swear this post was aimed at me. I am currently troubleshooting a Win2K comp with a few of the problems this fixes. Thank you MonsE for helping me look good to my client.

    Update:

    The smaller speciality SP3 update is now available:

    <a href="http://www.microsoft.com/Windows2000/downloads/servicepacks/sp3/download.asp" target="_blank">Service Pack3 Downloads (both big and small)</a>

    And Horror, glad to be of service for a fellow Misfits fan. <!--emo&;)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'><!--endemo-->

    I will now be in Service Pack hell for the next month at work, getting this thing tested and deployed to 200 servers and a few thousand PC's. If only everyone would use Citrix, I could avoid all those damned workstations.

    Oh well, it pays the bills

    Llama - you need to download the application compatibility update. Microsoft release one every quarter or so, and it adds support for games that were written before XP certification was possible:

    <a href="http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q319580" target="_blank">WinXP Compatibilty Updates</a>

    You can also reference this article on how to setup an app to run properly if it does not like XP:
