    I don't know drop weapon.

Drop meds and ammo, you can request as a marine, test the impulses to find out which. I think its 11/12, but I don't know. Do this by typing "impulse 11" in console, or whatever number.

    bind "g" "hotkey53"

I <i>think</i> this is drop weapon.

I would suggest you also want
    <b>bind "MOUSE1" "+attack"</b> (fire)
    <b>bind "MOUSE2" "+popupmenu"</b> (menu)
    <b>bind "MOUSE3" "+jump"
    bind "MOUSE4" "+reload"</b>
    <b>bind "MOUSE5" "+voicerecord"</b> (talk)

    hope this helps

I have a three button mouse, with mousescroll.

    You'll probably want mouse1 to be +attack.
I have mouse2 set to +jump, but that is a configuration preference of mine.

Impulse 3 drops your current weapon. You <i>could</i> bind that to a mousekey, although I find that this is wasteful. There are more important things to bind to those.

Here are my suggestions. If you're not intending to be a commander, you can bind a mouse key to +voicerecord. Beware, the mouse keys don't work for mic communication while you're in the com chair.

You don't really need the +popupmenu if you have everything you need bound on the keyboard. For aliens, I have the keypad used exclusively for upgrades and evolutions. For Gorge I have the keyboard keys used for buildings.

So if I had a 5 button mouse, I'd probably bind the most needed slot(s) (of slot1,slot2,slot3,slot4) to mouse buttons. For example, fade uses blink a lot (which is slot2) along with slash (slot1). Those I'd have bound to mouse buttons if I could. But instead I have to go with binding them to keys right next to my forward, back, slideleft, and slideright buttons.

As suggested earlier, you may want to bind reload - but only for marines. Don't waste a mouse button for a marine-only function. You have 2 seperate configs so it should be okay.

For a skulk, you may want to bind a mouse button to +moveup, which will allow you to scale ceilings without falling down whenever you look below the horizontal line.

I suggest you bind menu to a keyboard key (maybe enter or something) and take slot1 for mouse3.
You don't find much use for the menu anymore once you have everything set up. I only use it nowadays to eject commanders.

I wouldnt use mouse2 for the popmenu, instead move it to mouse3 (mousescroll pushed down) as other has said <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
