I thought it would be interesting to see what people around here know each other in real life (ie, you spend time with them in person occasionally).  I'm not saying that online relationships aren't interesting or valid, but that list would go on forever.

Hmm, none of my friends are really gamers, except for Scott, but he has not registered on the forums.

You may have seen him once or twice in #naturalselection as "PiNg^PoNg" but other than that, no I don't really know anyone in the community in real life.

I've been trying to tell my friend about this mod, but I guess it is well enough he won't listen. He's a few fruit loops shy of a breakfast. In fact, he's a few fruit loops shy of a few fruit loops. In actuality, he's totally loony.

I don't have any RL friends in this community, but a few of the people in the SI community are college buddies.  Actually, Brewster has dropped by #ns a few times, he was my suitemate last year.  I dunno if I'd consider him part of the community though.

haven't met anybody in person from this community yet (come to quakecon!) but i've met about 5 of my online friend's last year at quakecon 2001. fun times too, all of them were insanely cool. I've also met a few others at cpl events.

There's only two people I know in ottawa that follow NS, Rob and Devon, but they're both far more into DoD. Rob signed up for the forums and made a post or two once (by the name 'bum_monkey'. Devon has never done anything on these forums yet, and he seems to be convinced that NS isnt coming out, but he's just not used to a mod having so much work and time put into it. Once NS does come out, Rob, Devon, and I will be together in a natural selection clan called the "Iron Fist Brigade, or IFB. Our logo is the one and only Iron Fist.

I know no one. I've tried to convince some of my friends to join our community, but they're convinced that the mod is a hoax and will never come out, well at least, not until after TF2 and HL2....
