<div class="IPBDescription">with my PC speakers</div> OK who wants to try to help Davis out.

I tihnk my PC speakers are blown but Im not sure.

I have a decent 2 +1 sub Harmon/Kardon system. Which are pretty good qualty speakers.

I left my pc on by mistake when i went to Mexico for the week (just got back 3 days ago).

It went in that powersave mode. Over the coures of me hiking through the 100% humidity 100 degree Yucatan Jungle the US and cancada had that power failure.

They save a 500 megawatt power surge also went through some areas. My house lost pwoer while we were away.

Anywhoo

I come back and now my speakers dont seem to go up as loud as they did. However sound quaility is still good, although sometimes I hear a little crackle, when I turn up the speakers al the way. (but isnt that normal?)

Ive tried adjusting my speaker volume, PC/ CD vol. and the button my keyboard everything, anyone got any ideas, my drivers are Sound Blaster Live! however the creative SBLive site doesnt have SBLive drivers anymore. so I dont know ...

Any ideas thanks,

Could be worse, my speaker volume controll on my CreativeLabs Inspire 4.1 speakers is broken. After it reaches a volume you can hear the volume jumps up and down for a bit before settling down, if i hit my desk the volume changes so I assume its a lose resistor.
