WHY? I DUNNO MY FRIENDS ALL HATE IT SO I WILL TOO!!!

How about commenting on the article, instead of giving us boring predictable sunnyD teenansgt. Sheesh. If you had read the article, you would know how they plan on supporting mods. Instead, you can live out your life in 'cool ignorance'. <!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
    It's a mantra I think.

Al: Hello, my name is Al and I hate Gamespy

    The crowd: "Hi Al"

I had a big row on IRC the day when NS 2.0 release by pertubed kids that felt violated because they had downloaded Gamespy Arcade with the NS 2.0 file.

Now Im not afraid to say that I think it sucks too - HALO that is <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> Call me an old refusenik but damn, it doesnt reach half-life in it's soloaspect. Multi might be fun, but since when did the world seem to lack deathmatch kind of onlinegames for PC? Perhaps it will keep me amused as I await the release of the delay-threatened HL2!

..I was one of those kids.. Only I clawed at my desktop, trying to remove all traces of it, and was too busy to complain on IRC <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->
[edit] I didn't install Gamespy Arcade when the prompt came up, but just the same, I had to "cleanse" my computer of the NS 2.0 Installer, and double check to make sure I didn't get adware from just installing my favorite game[/edit]

However, Gamespy articles aren't all bad. You just have to know what parts are true, and what parts "The Information Minister" decided to add in. It's like watching Fox News; sure you'll hear about new updates, just remember to think before believing anything said there.

So you were a dope and chose to install GSA after multiple windows prompted you 'are you sure?'. No sympathy here folks - learn to read.

In what sense does that make Gamespy differ from other kinds of media? I am of the opinion that the more blatant and obvious the bias or commercial interest are shown by any given media, the easier I can filter the information correctly. The worst hipocricy is made of the media that claims to be "unbiased, objective" etc. when they in reality are pursuing the very same $$$ that makes the world go around, just as badly as everyone else.

The world is full of opinions. Your task is to process them and filter out the detritus from the few gold nuggets. It gets easier as you grow older.

Halo is incredible. I had such a blast beating the game Co-Op on my X-Box with my friend. We had a 7 hour run, then another 4 at a later date to finish it off.

A girl I was dating at the time actually called while we were playing. I didn't stop playing.
No, we're not dating anymore. :-P (thats not then reason, but it sounds funny).

Halo is just a great great game. The Singleplayer isn't as diverse as it could be, the game mechanics make over for the breathtaking, though somewhat repetitive levels, COUGH Library COUGH
The last level is INCREDIBLE. Especially Co-Op. Probably one of the best ever. Its just so cool. :-)
