Coustom Animations

my brother is a mapper and knows the basics pretty well, but we need a special map made with coustom animations. I know in hl (single player) the models did all sorts of custom things like bending over or picking something up...

how do you make coustom animations (for instance picking something up, or falling over a certain way) and how do you edit these animations?

anyone know a guide or site that could explain this?

    The scientists had own animations in the model, like c4a0_catwalk (unsure about the name), or c2b3_draginvent.

    You'd have to make own animations, I guess.

    first u need milkshape and u need to learn how to animate.

    scripted sentance. U set the target to ur monsters name. and the rest is easy. Make ur animation and set it up and it should play the animation. But use monster_funiture or monster_generic to make like a sci or somethin

    max is probably the best for HL stuff, yes.
