Problems With Joining Games

<div class="IPBDescription">Help me</div> I'm running NS on DoD retail and I am having some major problems. The biggest of these problems is when I join a server and go into a team (marines or aliens) I don't join properly. When I bring up the scores it shows that I am still in the waiting room and when I try to type stuff nothing happens until like 10 mins later. I also can't interact with stuff. Like getting ammo and stuff. But it’s the worst when I join and it’s like a rave and everything leaves a trail and I can barely see. It’s like when you go in free look and go in the ground and move around lots. This doesn’t happen all the time but it happens quiet often.
My consol also seems a bit weird. It is completely full of
"Unknown command: ex_maxerrordistance" and stuff like
"Error: could not load file sprites/bottom_right.spr"

It’s annoying... Any suggestions?
