Electrify Useless?

Ok please don't flame me , but me and my friends think that electfity is useless. I mean think about it, it costs 30 res which can be used for guns or upgrades. Also a skulk/gorge can destroy it , a lerk or a 2nd hive gorge or fade. I think it's pointless , i never seen a person died from electricity unless there are stupid to keep attacking it.

    It isn't meant to kill, it's meant to protect. I've encountered many times a RT with electricity and didn't dare touch it as a Skulk.     Electrify have a deceiving effect on Kharra, pshycologic thing.

    It will be more useful in 2.1a, where its potency has been increased, range increased, cost decreased. Right now in 2.0... yes, you're better off killing alien resource nodes and aliens to keep them occupied, and then hiding RTs in inactive areas of the map (away from the action).

    I like to use elecricity as often as possible, since it just prevents a rambo skulk or two from bringing it down. If I have to spend 30 res to keep my RT for 2-3 extra minutes, and making sure 2 skulks and a gorge spend 90 seconds taking it down... that's fine by me. That's alot of effort focused on it that isn't focused on anything else. Not to mention it might just buy my marine squad the time it needs to get there and save it.

    As a Kharaa I _hate those bugzappers. If its not electrified, its lunch for a single skulk. If it is, you gotta get a gorge there, or die repeatedly. Or take a really long time killing it, run in, bite twice maybe three times, back off and wait for regen, repeat. Repeat many many times.

    Trying to put down enough turrets to do the same job isn't viable, its much easier taking on a TF and 4 turrets than a electrified RT.
