how do you do it?
Well I've asked so many people and so many times but i never got an answer. How do you take a screeny and render it to a much higher quality? If anyone has a simple tutorial for me I would much appreciate it or anyone who could just simply tell me how they do it . Btw I'm talking about photoshopz0rz. Thanks in advance.

Rendering, in it's true meaning, is using 3dsm/maya or similar to render your image. Well, this what I think it is. I think of rendering as adding light/shadows to a 3D object.

Basically, if you want to use photoshop. Get a screenshot of a model using HLMV/3dsm/milkshape. Put it in photoshop use the render option found in filter and add light to your image. Add a background and shadows... Usually you add quite a lot of blur to it to give it a creepy sort of effect.

    I still haven't used 3dsm often.

BUt for 3dsm you need to press the teapot button to render, but I can't tell you how to get a model onto 3dsm, got something to do with compiling
