I Have A Question About A Program

<div class="IPBDescription">That I dont even know exists!</div> I was just wondering if anyone knew if there was a program that alerted you on certain days. (Like a message popping up saying "Simpsons Finale Tonight!" -which of course I would have to tell it ahead of time). Kind of like a calender that alerts you....or somthing.     In windows its the 'scheduled tasks'

    go to control panel, then 'scheduled tasks'

    'add scheduled task'

    tell it to run a program, and that program is simpsons.txt on your desktop [you have to actually MAKE a simpsons.txt file on your desktop that includes the text "hey, simpsons is on in 5 minutes, GO GO GO"

    then run it every day at 5:55 pm etc =]
