Good Mwherarine Comms I Hear About

Every game I play the comm either:
-cant organize the team
-cant say no to people asking for guns
-figures the more turrets the merrier, and places them inneffectively (places 7 turrets at the entrance and none to protect the turret factory)
-is a nub that doesnt know what buildings do (have only seen observatory and teleporter once in 6 games)
-doesnt use voice comm (very common problem)

I admit comming isnt easy, but ever since I came back to NS after 2.0 was released I have yet to see a marine team even come close to giving the aliens a challenge. Might as well point out that the marines themselves generally dont know what is going on either. I just played a game where a single skulk would kill 3+ marines at a time.

Anyways, does anyone know where I can find a server where the marines know how to play?

Sorry to nitpick, but the irony eminating from this statement is quite amusing.

hehehe, didnt notice that one esuna.

you should play on server where people know what there doing. the servers i play on the aliens on win 6/10 or so.

its just a case of capping as many res nodes as possible at the start(when playing marine) and then making sure atleast 3 of them are secured. 3 res nodes is ample to get a HA train rolling

When I com I don't just try to secure my own nodes, I DENY res for aliens too. I actively go and siege the double node right at the start of the game, after my 2 extra nodes are secure, like in ns_veil the west skylight and the one on the other side(forgot the name) then I build a TF in monitoring pod room and weld the vent and siege out the double node, by the time siege is up, aliens have 2 nodes capped and a ton of OCs, destroying them sets them back considerably. I can usualy contain aliens to just having 3 nodes. I always electrify my nodes after I capture them. when you own 6 res, its really affordable. after all the res are secure I start teching up with 2 arms labs and I start upgrading the armory.

I've found that if you deny enough res nodes to alien players, they will be so worried about reclaiming them, often they will totaly neglect hives. and with everyone on aliens saving up for onos with 3 nodes, I will have tons of time to tech up to fight against them. I haven't commed any games past this stage though, usualy one team or the other f4s and the game ends, but I think what would happen is to equip everyone with heavy weaponry and heavy armor and just bulldoze my way through the hive.
