<div class="IPBDescription">Connecting Trouble</div> I am able to browse all the servers but if I try to connect it fails. I have a firewall and a router, the router is set to foward ports 27000-27100. My firewall is currently down but no difference. If I bypass my router and plug my cable straight in then I get the connection fine. Any ideas?

Well this is what I did, I have disovered that many other people with Linksys routers are having the same problem. So apparently nobody can do anything about it because the router is just messed up.

Uh, no. Plenty of people use linksys routers to connect to NS - it's the most popular brand by far. If you do as asked and provide us with information, we will help you. Or don't, and we won't.

Ok well then what kind of info do you want? Here's some basics.

Cable connection --> Cable Modem --> Router --> Computer
Linksys BEFSR41 running on Cox Cable

    Forwarded ports
    27000 ~ 27100

    Firewall: Norton 2k3 Pro
Firewall is currently down, but doesn't make any difference either way. I can connect and play fine if I bypass my router.

Solved. Router firmware was the issue. I downgraded and it runs now! Oh the pure joy.
