<div class="IPBDescription">Well, kinda i suppose. ^^;;</div>Howdy, after not posting in a grip and a day. I have a kinda odd question to ask...
What's the average time for a match? Like... How long before an actual win occours.
And what's it like when the opposing team attains 'Uber' status.
Like... Marines VS. <!--emo&:tiny:--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tiny.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':tiny:'><!--endemo--> <i>Tinys</i> and <i>Blinks</i>.
Or... Aliens Vs. Uber Powered armor marines toting the best weapons and equipment and an expansive base.
What I'm getting at with the second... Is there ANY hope of the lesser team 'pulling it off' and winning?
I'd also like to know what it's like battling a Level 5. ^^;; I'd imagine... "Oh Sh*t... GET YER ARSES TO THE AIRLOCK! NOW!" *Rumble rumble rumble*

One is to run backwards (meaning you run slower) and shoot at him hoping he'll die before he reaches you, which he pretty much never does.
The other is to drop all your guns and equipment, turn around, and just <i>run</i>. Even then you'll probably find sweet death awaits you.
How many grenade rounds, approx, does it take to kill a lvl 5?
As for the original question, if a couple aliens can get to level 5, they can easily trample marine bases and USUALLY win a game. Vice crsa, if marines are pumped and the aliens have not built up their hives, well, the usually die also.
Well .. you see, the commander doesnt reall send out marines to take out the lvl5 - more like the lvl5 goes out to take out the marines.
Anywho, how often are there stalemates? Y'know... goes on till the map changes. ^^;;
"Sh*t!" <!--emo&:asrifle:--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/asrifle.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':asrifle:'><!--endemo--> <!--emo&:tiny:--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tiny.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':tiny:'><!--endemo--> *Rumble rumble rumble*
And.... What IS it like playing as a Flier? Do they have NoClip type flyin' or somethin'?
Edit: \/ O.O Eep! *Scuttles away* (Did'nt wanna double post)

It's really difficult to describe flying, so I won't even try. Ramses is basicly correct in his description of 'Flying' with the Level 3.
Point #2: flying. -- I've been told it's in the style of a game called "Joust," which unfortunately I've never played. Basically, every time you hit "jump" you flap your wings. Depending on the timing, you can either gain altitude or gain velocity in a horizontal direction - you can get moving pretty fast!
I myself have been a level five a few times and not killed a thing (I really -really- suck as a level 5.. <!--emo&:D--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'><!--endemo--> ).
And then I've seen level 5's level entire bases and kill off marine after marine, winning the game. It all depends on the players, a bit of luck, and the upgrades you have.
its the old atari type arcade game where you ride a flying ostrich and are can knock enemies off of theirs by hitting them from above the flying is you guys have said..
and.. LOVE HINA > j00!
GREATER THEN ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Aaaaaanywho, wonderin' how stable the current build is BTW... If askin' that is forbidden, then at least leave me one ear! Just one! a half of one at least.
*Alum* =X Erhm.... *AHEM* Anyways, just wondering.

Yeah, I'm the pessimist of the family. Then again, being the one that always has one or two bugs more than the rest of the playtesters kinda puts me in that role automatically.
But in truth, there -are- only one or two 'Eh?' bugs and a few asthetic problems. RC4 was nice, and the next build will be even better.... RC4 was the first build I actually looked forward to playing after playing it once or twice.

so wait.. your speed is based on what u carry? or what u have out?
Or you can be a lumbering 'Ah ahm gonna pamp yoo ahp!' with every weapon.
I personally would'nt mind a few 'Eh? What what?' bugs... But then again thats me.
Waitin' for 1.8 of Dragonmod Z.... Waiting for 1.2 of Desert Crisis... Waiting for the next release of S&I... Waiting for the release of Natural Selection...
Ugh... All this waitin' is killin' me! @.@
I laughed so hard I leaned back and fell out of my chair.
