Pink Lins When In Command Console And Menu...

<div class="IPBDescription">Help!</div> I'm having problems with runnig NS. I d/led NS from fileplanet and when I run it, when I enter the Command Console, there are pink lines on the top and bottom of the screen and the cursor is not present. Also, when I try to bring up the options menu (default Mouse2), it appears on the upper left hand side as a jumble. Help!

    You are running in Software mode. You can try to change it, but I don't know if your video card can support Direct3D or OpenGL.

    Start up Half-Life/NS/CS/whatever. Goto configuration -> video modes -> Click on either Direct3D or OpenGL (OpenGL is usually better than Direct3D, but not always and not all cards support OpenGL). You can also change the resolution of HL here (I recommend 800x600).
