Hitting "customize" Restarts My Computer

I don't have that new worm going around, so that's not the problem....
I used to play 1.0 NS all the time....then i got back into DoD after their 1.0 came out...
I saw 2.0 for NS so i downloaded that today and wanted to play....
3 times i hit customize in the menu and it restarts my computer...what's the deal?
I was running WinME on 1.0, and now have XP Pro...I've also since added and am running XP off a Maxtor 160G 7200...but neither of these changes should effect a damn thing....
I was and still am using a Hercules 4500 64MB....and chose to run NS in 32-bit (might be a mistake, but i can change it later).....
All the things i can think of...Need a little help if you would please!

Reinstall NS (Like the sticked post says!!!!!!!!!!!)
Can you press that button in other mods?
Did you verify you have an uncorrupted install? (Verify the md5sum)
