I doubt I could narrow it down to just one song, but as of right now I'd probably have to say "Parabol/Parabola" by Tool. Yes, I know it's technically 2 tracks, but they go together

I'd have to say THE best song has to be "Judith" by A Perfect circle. When I heard that the first time, I got goosebumps

Jean Sibelius, Symphony No. 5 in E Flat Minor, Op. 82. I was nearly asleep when I first heard this. After it had been playing for a minute I was hanging on every note.

I do also like 'Say What You Want' by Texas, that's always near the top of my playlist. Which is pretty good, considering it's about 500 tracks long now (I just save everything into one playlist. WinAmp still opens quite quickly).

No way I can limit this to one band/musician let alone one tune.
Any Hans Zimmer or Wim mertens really, also for gaming the best is the command&conquer soundtrack, tis perfect for gaming.

Other than that Faithless, Chicane and Kosheen and any nice trance tunes out there.

At the moment I'm particulary enjoying mauro picotto - Back to cali (push mix) but I think if I have to pick one tune it's delerium ft. Sarah mclachlan - silence. (airscape rmx or album version).
I'll regret my choice of tune in 5 mins when I remember something else though D:

Steppenwolf: Born to be wild!
Steppenwolf: Magic Carpet Ride

Well, I'm impressed... not that many Heavy Metal people hear, seems that its just a Quaker thing. By the way, no I'm not a quaker, just occasionally.
Anyway, back on topic (or should be off topic considering the forum?) I'm more into the the Power Metal stuff, so I will say among the best songs of all times:

Blind Guardian - Imaginations From The Other Side
Iced Earth - Dante's Inferno
Dope - Die M****rf****r Die
POD - School of Hard Knocks
Blind Guardian - And Then There Was Silence
Demons And Wizards - Gallows Pole

Well, guess that's enough for now, could go for hours though...

I loved the feel of the original C&C's soundtrack. Sure, there were some tracks that were really odd (what's a 90's R&B song and a slow, soft jazz tune doing in a war simulator?), but Act on Instinct is such a classic. A lot of the other songs were really cool, too.
