Configuring Reserved Slots In Amx

hey just a quick question:

i want to have my server (Cockbert's Phallus Palace @ 68.48.154.49:27015) have 1 reserved spot for me and only me and I want it set up so that everytime i join, whether the server is full or empty or somewhere in between, I am placed in that spot. I have found that with the way it is set up now, the only time I am placed in the reserved slot is when the server has one slot left (ie: the space is reserved for me). This poses a problem when I join when the server is empty and then the server fills up and there is one reserved space that is never used.

basically i just want to always fill the reserved spot everytime i join.

is there a way to do this?

+maxplayers # + 1 for you

By default it will kick the last joined player to make room for you.

I am guessing your using adminmod and if thats the case, you need to modify the reserve_slot_type cvar to either 0 or 2. I'm not sure which one it is, but it will tell you in the adminmod manual that is included with the download. If you're using something else, idunno.

EDIT: I think I spelled the cvar wrong so I fixed it... I think?

If you read the topic he's using AMX <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo--> Anyway, my reserved slots are completely botched with AMX too, using the .9.5 beta and whenever someone joins the maxplayers go from 20 to 18, and asks you to force connect at 16! I ended up just disabling reserved slots :/
