Why does it show how many RT's are capped for each team? Shouldn't that message be hidden? I mean after all, if you want to know, you should scout it out.
If anything, only the com should get that message and maybe the gorges.
Sure, but to know how many the other team has up is not needed IMO. It makes scouting essential. I personally liked it like it was in 1.04, where nothing came up. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
If the server is run in tournament mode, then it will not display Marine rt # vs Alien rt #.
So if you really want to do some competitive gaming for a round or two, ask your local admin to put the server in tournament mode - or put a server up yourself in tournament mode and you can scout those rts all you want.
Worse yet, you can take the data at each time interval and integrate to estimate how much res the marines have. Take this number, add 2*marinescore, and you're golden.

One jet pack and shotgun at a cost of 25 res to purchase can have detrimental effects versus alien hives where as 200 res in the form of an HA Man Train can all be eaten by one 100 res onos.
The RT numbers is good. It's not there for tourney where you should have a higher level of play, but there for the couple of better players in pub server to know when they should be going for res' instead of their base. Just makes playing in a team of aliens who refuse to communicate less frustrating, which can only be a good thing.
its just a kinda of score board they have 6 rts to our 2, thats bad news! or "its pritty even right now" they have 4 and we have 4.
I kinda like it! It alsos allows your slow witted team mates to realize that you are losing and its time to try harder! <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
