*wants to try a newer Zelda game than those for the NES*
<span style='color:white'>Some weird guy keeps reporting each and every post with a 'funny' pic in it. I wonder who that might be? <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--></span>
Its okay honey, just roll up into your ball again. Yeah, I love it when you do that.
Anyhoo my brother ended up getting 90% of the game complete after he beat it, he scanned every item in the game and found all but about 6 powerups, so if you want to ask anyone ask him.

Now see there was a time when I asked a certain question, but DOOManiac would humiliate me to death.
Who is Samus?
you see, I'll just say some stuff to cover it up, like
Aha. Fooled ya!
1) arms are too thin, way too thin... I think even Kate Moss has thicker arms than that...
2) Cannon's just... no...
3) the breast plate area is seriously outta whack compared to ANY version of samus...
4) the rest of the armor detailing is outta squew...
The only real resemblance is the shoulder pads, basic colour scheme, and the blonde hair... but only those who know some about Samus would know that... hell, the seriously video game deprived who've only played the Original and never beat it probably didn't even know she was female...

________
As for the original point of this, since the ending of Prime is determined by % collected, and not by time in any form...
then by all means go for one hundred by any means nessesary. That ending (although only a scotch longer) is deffinatly cool and worth it.
There're also two additional endings for Fusion that are dependant on %s...
all metroidy goodness
<a href='http://www.classicgaming.com/mdb/' target='_blank'>http://www.classicgaming.com/mdb/</a>
that does not look like samus, looks like a blonde bimbo from beach volleyball. Sides she takes her helmet off at the end of Prime, beat it and be amazed! <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
ps:
totally agree with dr.d on this one
also Liger: Metroid Fusion has like, <a href='http://www.vgmuseum.com/end/gba/b/mf.htm' target='_blank'>6 different endings</a>. And the Japanese version has <a href='http://www.vgmuseum.com/end/gba/c/mfj_2.htm' target='_blank'>even more</a>.
As far as the picture goes, yeah I know its not a 100% accurate representation of Samus, but its close enough, and the only good one I could find to insert into the picture at the time I made it...

Well, you've proved yourself a fan at least. ;P
I'd note that I only stated that there were two that were obtainable only through 100%... but... eh... hadn't seen the Japanese ones, but interesting... the easy ones illustrate some of her backstory... and the hard ones are mostly what we got...
thats why I loved prime so damn much, I spent soo much time scanning stuff I had dreams about it. (i missed the stupid wasp in the furnace so no 100% for me ::cries into his soup:: )

I did not scan that boss on the universe station from
the space pirates! <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo--> Now i never will get 100%, too!
And I don't really want to play the game again!
But then the expert mode appeared......
1- How long you took
2a- What % completed you got
2b- Some of the items were in "secret" areas or difficult-to-reach areas.
Most of the time though, #1 was used. And yes, in the NES's Metroid game if you finished it in under like 9 hrs you got to see Samus in her [<a href='http://www.vgmuseum.com/end/gba/b/mf_2.htm' target='_blank'>two piece.</a>]. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
now... lets see if i can beat MP in 9 hrs... <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->
Who doesn't? FPSs was made for Computers, controllers are just retarded when it comes to FPS Games. I mean, GoldenEye, Perfect Dark and Turok 1-3 and Halo Pulled it off well. These games for GameCube and stuff are rediculously hard to control.
You are hereby banned from ever speaking about Metroid ever again...
What the hell have you been smoking? only a total nub to the Metroid series would say Samus Aran is a guy... i'll re-write your stuff...
Isn't Samus Aran this really cool <b>chick</b> with the power suit? Man <b>s</b>he's the BOMB I'm telling ya! <b>S</b>he's so cool, <b>s</b>he looks like a styled-up version of MegaMan! I'd say that this <b>woman</b>'s just about the biggest <b>female</b> superhero there ever was.

Jeez dude, look at <a href='http://www.vgmuseum.com/end/gba/b/mf_2.htm' target='_blank'>this link</a> for all the "info" you need to get yourself learning about the Metroid heroine. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
You really should know that lolfighter!!
Samus Aran is female!
<!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->
Hey!
Did my map help any one?!
Remember:
EDIT: it is not really my map!
Seriously.
One of the unwritten rules of Metroid is that whenever you talk about it, someone in the audience must be totally clueless about Samus' gender, or joking. Rarely have I had this much success though. Still smirking. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
What? How so? Because it had an AimBot? Or because the Control Style's un-customizable with the Right Joy-Stick being the Move Button? In GoldenEye and Perfect Dark, you could change the controls to the C-Button's were to move and the Joy-Stick was to move around, more freedom that way, and it's more like a PC FPS Game. And in Turok, the Controls were automaticly like this.
[EDIT]And the option for "Golden Gun type Rules" was Licenced to Kill, that was the manditory setting to play on with me and my friends.[/EDIT]
