2.0 Taking More Comp Usage?

<div class="IPBDescription">Just a question</div> Recentely, the server that runs my ns server, has been getting hammered by 2.0, which I thought would be easier on the computer.

It also runs a CS server and did fine in 1.4, but now its just lagging up the cs server like crazy.

Any ideas why?

    So far the server has crashed (and with only 4 people on it at one of the times) 5 times. The person I rent it from has said HLDS problems are being run into.

    Could it be that he's running it from Win32, or... Argh, I dunno, just some advice here would be nice, I'm really worried about maybe loosing my server or its traffic if it goes down for too long.

    Check out <a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?act=ST&f=33&t=42107' target='_blank'>this thread</a> about (Linux) CPU usage. Even though its linux it'll give you a feel of how much CPU we're using on our systems. Also may I ask what your system specs are?
