Fps Needed

<div class="IPBDescription">help</div> I have a friend who has a really bad pc.. he used to be able to play ns with r_drawviewmodel 0 but now its disabled his fps hit the floor. i need to find a way around this ie changin model postions so its just off screen or making a empty model or somthing please help my friends in dire need of more fps.

You can just replace the weapon models with null.mdl. That'll have the same effect as r_drawmodel 0.

Don't forget to backup everything.

If you move the model off center, you wouldn't get better fps, since the client has to load the model in the start of the game anyway

and it sucks that some v_models are change-protected, now we cant have custom v_models for onos or skulk
