    well the problem is NOW...

    edit: we really need some kind of filter.... or mods that are hired specifically to delete redundant threads and PM the questioning nubblies, if the current mods don't feel like it.

    it's not pointless. 2.0's created a huge influx of forum nubbins, and the tendency not to search or run thru the release topic is an actual problem.

    you don't <i>get</i> it. we have to take it to the next step.. maybe something as subtle as a warning popup window saying HAVE YOU USED THE SEARCH FUNCTION? whenever you click new topic.

    Yeah the NS Community was ok until NS 2.0 was released. Now the Forums and Server's are filled with Nubs and I'm not going to be able to play a decent game of NS for a Month.

    I mean, I'm sure you yourself didn't look for a thread on telling people to use the search function before you made this.

    The problem is most of them dont know about the search function

    they are playing NS one day, hear something about "my new SC onos model is teh shizzle", they sign up on the forums, look about a bit, find the model forum, see the new topic button and ask.

    they then get shot down in flames by people telling them to search and stuff and they never come back
