Is it possible?
Hello!

First off, hail Flayra for the best game ever.
Next;

I'm currently in the process of making a movie for my clan (KfS). What I was wondering about is if it's any possible way to turn of the HUD, as it would look kind of noobish in a movie. I've tried "hud_draw 0", but it didn't seem to work. I believe to have seen the HUD turned of in another movie, although i'm not sure ...

And don't give me any: "HAXX0R TEH SPRITE D00D!!!11111"

All help is great help (nearly).

    The option to turn of the HUD was disabled in 2.0, because some people thought it was cheating.

    You'll have to make your movie in 1.0x. Just start yourself up a 1.0x server and use "r_drawviewmodel 0"

    Or you could do it in spectator...

    well...you could teleport a readyroom person into the map for him to record the movie...and spectator has a crosshair and he might not like that...

    Ahem.... `crosshair "0"' in Spectator. PRoblem solved.

    And the whole movie is going to be from the point-of-view of some ghost floating around? When someone says movie I normally think of at least some player POV.

    No matter how lame it sounds, it's going to be a "fragmovie". I know it's kind of "CS!!!11", but I like fragmovies.
    The spectator-solution is the best one so far, unless Flayra reveals his "Top secret book of hidden commands in NS 2.0".
    Maybe I/someone could make it a variable in metamod or something? Guess that is possible, right?

    Honestly, getting rid of the sprites is the best way. You don't need to delete them or edit them - just rename them (add something to the end, for example - anything just so long as the game can't find the file it's looking for).
