<div class="IPBDescription">memories</div> can anyone make the shotgun from quake 2? that gun was sweet not the double barrel shotgun i mean the one you would start wiht that gun looked like a assaualt rifle but was a shotgun it was real nice please can some one give it a try or some one convert it from quake 2?

Its Quake 1 actually.
HL was based on Quake 1
As was Quake 2.
Making them brothers, not father and son.
although id did give Valve a few lines of code from Quake 2, mainly just bug patching...
But still, HL is a very, very modified version of Quake 1.

It just seems like it should, since Q2 was out when HL was being developed, people seem to think, that since Q2 looks better than Q1, they used that.
Didn't they also get a few lines from Doom?
