Not HLTV, but hey! The act matters! :P
Here are two packs of 2 demos (halves) of my point-of-view for the unnatural Evolution versus Complex Bling ([C*B]) and Stormtroopers of Death (STD) for the sake of science/knowledge/balancing/strategical analysis or voodoo or whatever your reason to view them would be

First game was against C*B on ns_eclpse at 7, we won fairly easily but they still managed to throw a few interesting strategies around. No tourney scores for this one sorry We had 1367 Marine round 823 Alien round but we don't have their team's numbers.

Second game was against STD on ns_veil at 9 (I think they had a temporary player). This one was a good game actually, the outcome of Marine round would have been different if Hives cost 50 res and PumpNScoot didn't lag out [Onos wouldn't have had Stomp to stun us and we wouldn't have died attacking a hive because the hive would not have been built yet] Alien round was the tiebreaker, we made a failed attempt to annihilate them somewhere around the 10 minutes mark [We'd have needed a Gorge bombing and Lerk umbraing] and went back about 5 minutes later after we put third hive up and had defense chambers up (at last! ). The scores were as follow, but the win for some odd reason few people understand was given to STD by CAL-Othell. Times are approximative.

Loser: Stormtroopers of Death (STD)

Good game both of you, and good luck in the finals, STD... if you beat tfc that is

*Prays that the links will work I DCCed them to someone and he said he'd upload them to an FTP while I was sleeping.. so the demos *WILL NOT WORK YET * *

I watched, and I was impressed. First download doesn't work, second one does.

Ok the marine game felt alot like a pub game, but teamwork was proper(as is sometimes on pubs), yet I felt subtle differences. I don't know why you spent all that time idling around base at the very begining though, comm gave you a waypoint, so get going.

One neato thing was how the marines said "**** the res nodes", they just built up turrets first, before finishing the knifing job on the alien RTs at the double node. Good choice!

I also noticed how you sat your spawn and moved your POV from side to side, checking for incoming from both directions. Hmmmm that's alright I guess, but I would of went up on that balcony behind you, and watched ONE entrance. The idea is that a teammate would notice me, and then watch the entrance im not watching. It's fairly easy to tell that an enemy is incoming, and it's not from the exit you're watching.

Most cool thing was how there was no turret farms. Just some basic turrets, and the marines attempting to win the match.

In both games I saw, the aliens won.

Ok now when things went alien, damn did **** get interesting! The skulk I saw did not want to die, he would run away rather than sacrifice himself. There was also a gorge near to heal up the poor skulk, frontline gorges were very common!

One really fun thing was how the skulk hit in that pit at the very begining, yet he didn't attack. He felt perfectly confident that those marines were just gonna pass by, I was scared they wouldn't! Too bad that RT soon became electrified.

That was a great game against STD. Their aliens just blew us away with their 3 hives lightning quick strat. I had a ton of fun.

What should UE have done differently to continue on in the match, when UE was playing marines? Or was STD just too tough to beat?

Well as I said, maybe if 1) PumpNScoot didn't lag out 2) We went to the other hive or 3) It was 2.01c, we'd have won [because the 2nd hive wouldn't have been up yet and the Onos wouldn't have had Stomp]. But we'll never know The C*B demo works (now?), I just checked it.

They were not really tough to beat... They're not very aggressive and didn't expand much, but their aim/teamplay was fairly good I guess =P

Now Re: the other comments you made.. The reason I was checking both exists is that they had Movement first and they could have been silenced so I made sure to continuously check the entrance points. And the reason I didn't go to that waypoint was that it was not a task assigned to me by the commander in the plan match but rather to Team 2, so I let them do the job alone while waiting for my own orders.

Lately we've been getting out teamwork straight (after 10 months! bwahahaha ) so we play a lot better than we used to.. We've learned that resources count, and thus that it's generally as if not more important to kill RTs than it is to build them for your team, and to minimize casualties to cut off their RFK income. We still don't understand how they got 3 hives in 10 minutes with 2 Fades 2 Onos a Gorge and something morphing even though they had maybe 3 RTs and we killed their double res one, and practically none of us died except in the final assault.... But that only means to me they had flawless resource collecting. I must admit my blood was chilling too, during our Alien round when I was in the pit by their marine start! I was going to ambush them at first but of course, chamber-less against 3 stock marines wouldn't win.

Thanks for watching the demos, hope you enjoyed As I said I put them up because no one was able to watch them from HLTV because... well... I don't know, it just was not up for both our games And hope you enjoyed the POV rawr bla bla I just woke up, gl hf gg cya.

Indeed. It was a great learning experience playing a vet clan, and seeing how such a clan would reeact to strats that are 'out of the box.'
