This sounds like a really cool mod and im looking forward to playing it and i was wondering if you guys were almost finished with it.Oh and the release date for the mod said February 2001 just to let you know.     Well i hope its ready soon im dying to play it.Great mod im with you guys all the way.oh and i forgot to say that i played svencoop and hosted a 24/7 server some time ago for any of you that played you might have remembered me but svencoop is just not good enough for teamplay while Natural selection looks very involved in teamwork <!--emo&:D--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'><!--endemo-->

    Hmmmmm... the last info we <i><b>EVER</b></i> got about TF2 is nearly 3 years old, meaning it is:

    a.)Daikatana (HIGHLY unlikely)
    b.)Delayed due to complete engine rewrite from scratch (Fact, and most likely why it's taking so long)
    c.)Going to be one HELLA COOL KICKASS ### YUOR PANTS GAME when it comes out (Sort of a given...)

    Yeah Natural selection will release the first commander mode while the game known as "TF2" (man those guys at valve can really keep stuff secret)will just keep delaying for years.And what about Halflife 2, no word on that either.Hope Natural selection is ready soon i...must..play.

    Tribes and Battlezone had "commander mode" before TF2 even announced it.  The hard part isn't coming up with the idea, it's designing and implementing it so it actually works.  IMHO, no one has done it right yet, and I'm hoping NS will be the first one that does.

    Heck, TONS of people have thought about integrating RTS and FPS, but the hard part is making it work.  Ideas are nothing, implementation is everything.
