Aliens Start With Too Much Res

<div class="IPBDescription">simple math...poor choice? =(</div> Ok so here's the deal. Marines start with 100 res right?
How much do alien teams start with... lets see, 25 per alien...So, this is nice and balanced if there are 4 aliens. However, most games involve 6+ players on each team. So the alien team is NOT ONLY able to put up many RT's in the first minute of the game, but they also start with 50+ res MORE than the marine team.

i don't know what a good solution to this would be, but I think it would help pub servers out A LOT to fix the insane resource advantage aliens get in larger games.

    Don't forget; resources are not directly as valuable for each team. It simply doesn't work to say '1 res for alien = 1 res for marine'. Resources are worth different amounts for different teams with different states of play.

    I'm aware, but it seems dumb to me that an alien team can not only contain the marines, but also simultaneously put up 3 RT's. In basically EVERY game I've played of 2.0, the aliens had onos before the marines could even get up a proto lab.

    Depending on the game size, this can be a problem though. If you have a huge amount of aliens, they can cap every single res and sensory/OC up some of them as well (not that this will usually happen). I'm sure there'll be some sort of fix in the future, but for now, general clan games (6v6-8v8) are well balanced.

    an ip spawns marines a hive spawns aliens.
    why aren`t they the same res?

    cos their are marines and aliens in the mod NS, they are very diffrent. pleasr try and understand, it makes perfect sense if u play NS.
