It's All About Natural Selection, Isn't It?

- 2 concrete suggestions (in bold), preceeded by problem statement,
- some fun:
1. Concrete suggestions
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As, it was said 2.0 is a new game, new universe. And it seems that in this unverse ALIENS(marines) are going to survive. So what? Is not it the purpose to determine the fittiest?
I see all the posts make that, fix that, and counter posts: no, you can not because it will unbalance this, etc. etc. etc. Typical question is how you can determine the impact/cost of sensory? You can not. In 2.0 there are too many free variables which make equation practically unsolvable in human life-time.
Look at the nature. How can one predict if certain species will survive. One can not. Nature solves it pretty easily: it runs long-term real-life simulation, and looks at the results. (It's a speculation, because some ppl belive universe was actully created and is controlled, and some ppl think that it was a random natural selection seqence)
I see on the beta forum all these posts about what is balanced and what is not, and then see that the practice shows another results. Ppl can not predict behavior of such complicated systems, they can make "educated guesses". Then finally flayra admitted that he created so complex universe that it can not be completely predicted, that small change may entirely tip balance to the other side, and that only the intensive long testing can produce the balanced game.
Then I see many, many hours of beta testing, analysing the statistics, adjusting, testing, .... Why, why? Why not let the "nature" decide? Let's say if after 10 games the statistics will be favouring aliens, server (automatically) randomly will lower the cost of marine's structures, or higher the cost for aliens, or prohibit the certain structures untill some condition, or lower the radius for obs, etc. etc. After 10 games it will analyse the statistics again, ... Eventually, the settings will reach levels which correspond to a balanced game. And it does not have to be a single solution but surely there will be numerous combinations!
Of course, dev can play god and set the rules themselves (I know I would). Also, fixed rules will make game easier to play I guess. But please consider this suggestion. There might be something in it. It's called natural selection for reason, isn't it?
Make such things as resource models, amount of damage, cost, etc. etc. configurable by server operators, or - better - auto-adjusting.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Is it easy to use the forums now with so many users? How many topics are there? How many useful suggestions? What is useful, after all? Is it possible to find smth in between all the flame? I mean, OMG topics having 50+ posts, am I going to read them all? I wish, but can not. Neither admins.
Look at the sociology: what ppl do when there becomes too many of them? They group up in sub-groups. Sub-groups elect representatives which express the opinion of the group. NO no I dont suggest to elect some one or make groups. With internet we can do much better: we can vote on specific topics.
If there would be some global survey designed by admins+users, ... think about it.
Make site wide polls/surveys to allow ppl express their feelings/opinions in more manageble way.
This will improve the level of fedback developers recieve, and will give users a better feeling of participation and influencing the development, as well as feeling that thier voice is heard.

2. fun stuff
Yesterday I accidetially put on HA instead of JP (they were right next to each other). I noticed it only after 3 min. OMG, how I was cursing the way new JP works! I was actully trying to jump and I thought that's it for new JP! Can you imagine? In my excuse it was very intense 3-min fight in a confined space. I actully noticed that I have HA, only trying to get into vent. And I was all like "OMG, new JP suxor!" and like.
