"hlds.exe" Not Found

<div class="IPBDescription">"hlds.exe" not found when opening2.0</div> "hlds.exe" not found is seen when opening the NS 2.0 dedicated server....and windows automatically browsees for it..and it is still not found....
Specs...
Ns. 2.0 from fileplanet
Windows Xp Pro
256 mb ram
2.4 GHZ P4
19 inch monitor
40 GB HD
C-s 1.5 installed...nothing else...
If you would be kind enoough to help me with this problem it would be very appreciated...thankyou..

ok, I have never actualy looked at CSR

so, in your CS dir look to see if you have HLDS.exe or CSDR.exe or something (hl dedicated server)

if you DON'T have this file this will probably be a bug that will require some trickery that I can't do

however you can always just try copying a working version of the file into there, here have one:

(I appologize the file is to large to fit into a zip so you will need a proggie that can un RAR stuff)

It should be in the root of your half-life install, and by that I mean the engine, not necesarily the game. ie It should be in the folder that contains all your other mods.
