An Idea For Jetpack

so it can be used again more often
Since I'm not allowed to make new topics in the public beta, the topic goes here.
I noticed that aliens need a mix of classes to finally win the round, but marines all go heavy armor to wipe out the infestation. Jetpacks are rarely handed out anymore as there usefulness has been nerfed considerably.
In any good rts, the winning force needs a mix of units, and right now, unless you count different weapons as different units, it's not happening on the marine side.
My idea is to make jetpack have infinite fuel so jetpack can be a jetpack again.
But wait, in order to maintain balance, no weapons can be used while in flight. So a marine much touch the ground first inorder to shoot, knife, weld, ect.
This would make the jetpack a scout class, or a quick res deployer.
Imagine giving one guy a jetpack, who can then scoot through the vents and rooms to hive, so a phase can be built, and then receive the support of his team of heavy armors to finish the hive.
So after the first beta patch is played exhausted, would you support this idea in the next patch?

And I think its very good.
I'm not whining about the balance, just like to expand the jet pack's role.

a simple LIE.
jps aint nerfed.
theyre better than before.
well not when you used to have 100 fps to EXPLOIT IT.
And I only played ns at 40 fps max, so there was no way I was exploiting the jetpack.
But in all the ns 2.0 games I've played, if commander hands out jet packs instead of heavy armory, the game's over.
and besides.....people want to use stuff that will actually make them win.....not do a 'last ditch chance to accomplish nothing'
thats why you see all HA and no JPs
jps' only use is to send someone off to make a PG in a good sneaky spot.......and its rare that a com will spend 35 res + research time and then drop one for 15 more res just for that
the two things that make JPs a no no:
a HA is only FIVE more res
HA had its walking speed boosted quite a bit
.........why would people ever use JPs? I have yet to see them made during the real part of the game....only at the end when its already a win or loss and the comm is screwing around heh
its kinda sad that while 2.0 made alien's tactics much more diverse (going D->M->S is still vaible yet not NECESSARY......good job guys!).....they lessened marines diversity between HA and JP (altho you see all the gun types now....so its a win-lose situation)

stop breaking the rules. *waits for an admin.*
so the aliens ahev 2 hives and about 8 onos on a 12 player team. so i just handed out about 4 gls with jetpack and rest shotties.
onos eventually died 15 minutes later, but after that it was ha train to the rescue attacking both hives at same time
(this really gets the aliens confused because they have to split thier forces up, which usually means they have to take a gamble which is the real assault force with onos )
i find it disturbing that there are people in this world that think that would make a game better.
