Crashing Comp, Remaking Maps.
I have loved NS because of its custom maps, So I am in the mist of remaking NS_missilecommand which I have made, but upon when I compile and run. My computer resets. I have all the entities I believe but some names have changed. Anyone know why my comp would reset?

Can't really say why your computer resets, that's more of a software/hardware issue on your system; could be anything from OS, Virus, Corrupt, bad hardware, etc..etc..etc..

true, i asked for system spec because it may be caused by a lack of ram, although these warm nights might be overheating ya pc causing it to reboot

yeah its well worm these nights, really hard to even do anything without dying of heat, especially with more heat coming from your pc and lights for example , btw can you describe this "restartin" problem in more detail, i mean like does it;

1, instantly turn off your pc
2, does it shut down or restart
3, your pc specs,
4, any compile errors,
5, tools your using, (compile tools, editor, etc)
6, cpu temp at the time u compile,
7, size of map
8, your operating system
9, any virus's on your pc

I got the map to run but after having 12 on 12 of ns_missilecommand it crashed. Any reason people know of? Also what does this mean :

All NS maps must use the CSG switch "-hullfile <half-life path>/ns/nshulls.txt" when being compiled for player clipping to work properly.

Like where do I put this?

in the parameter of csg, use a batch compiler or the advanced jobber in hammer,

about your other problem its already been talked about above, HEAT!!

At the time of lag out, I had 32% CPU Usage, 32 Pings majority. That was not the reason, Does these "Polys" Have somthing to do with it?

Hey Ken! I'm not quite sure what could be causing it to restart. If you want and think you have a finished version, I could try compiling it for you if you want. We can see if its a system problem, or if its a problem in the map/way its being compiled.

i just updated the drivers and no problems now, but not sure if it crashes in bc but that is fine as i dont use hammer to compile now.

Usually when the graphic card processor overheats the screen just freezes for me. When the CPU overheats i get blue screens and all sorts of restarts of blackouts and when my graphics ram is too hot i get stripes on my screen. Don't know about the effects of overheated main memory though...
