Surprise people! If you keep losing, don't complain about the other team being "overpowered" or "h4x0rs" or some such nonsense, try something else. See, it works like this: If you always do the tried-and-true strategies, then you're a predictable opponent, and the other team knows how to counter you before you start. If you mix and match strategies, then they don't know where you're coming from, and they can only counter you when you're well into your offense. You've got the upper hand.

I've seen way too many games lost by teams that try for their classic strats, only to find that the other team is already in their relocation spot/hive of choice, and die trying to get it back rather than changing gears and going for a different spot.

So stop complaining about the balance, and try something new instead. It'll be fun.

I'm not talking to the "many of us" that already do that; I'm talking to the ones who don't, the same people who facilitated and repeated the JP+HMG strat time and time again, some of whom have already said 2.0 "sucks" because you can't do that anymore. If you already mix and match strategies, or make up the game as you go along, congratulations. You're in the minority.

Oh, and regarding complaining about betas...
