Res For Mine Kills

<div class="IPBDescription">just wondering why</div> I'm just curious why mines seem to be the exception to the whole res for kills issue. It's a pretty moot point because I doubt it really affects anything, but I'm just curious. Indulge me

    mine kills are suicides for both teams.
    mines are already a powerfull expensive short time defense ANYTIME ANYWERE as long as you can keep gorges off them.
    mine rushes can be evil.
    its a strat without honor so you get no res.

    I like placing mines in vents and outposts, just to keep the pesky skulk who somehow manages to take down the TF...

    Oh, so that's why I never get any kills when I use mines. And I used to think that they nerfed them.....

    Can't wait for that to be fixed....then it will be time for mine spammage ONCE more.

    Well, if they add res for mine kills I'll use mines a lot more. If you happen ( however unlikely ) to kill 1 alien per mine dropped, you'll break even over large number of mines ( 2 res per mine, 2 res avg per kill ). So, in this way its almost like a free defense ...

    well of course its random between 1-3 so you have a larger chance of breaking even, or gaining a profit. ther still is a chance you could get 1. can't wait for it to be fixed tho.

    Mines cost 10 res for a pack of 5, IE 2 res each. A kill gives you 1-3 res, 2 average. A mine kills a skulk instantly.

    RfK for mines sounds like a thoroughly messed-up idea to me... Mines that pay their res cost back when they blow up? <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->
