Oh, and that Natural Selection thing. <!--emo&;)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'><!--endemo-->
I will break if they don't include a level editor... <!--emo&;)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'><!--endemo-->
NS and WHL
=p
Necrophiliac, heh I was the original lead mapper for WHL. Joined right after AdmiralDuckSauce created the thing, and right before Gaist (former leads). I was never of much use though.. how many years ago was that? <!--emo&;)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'><!--endemo-->
I saw Serious Sam 2 in the stores yesterday, and was rather surprised to see that there were already several games which were coming in the new Box-size standard, among which were SS, B&W Expansion (which is what I was there for), MOH:AA, and some other games I can't remember.
SS kicks rear, if only for its game engine -- multiple sources of gravity! wowee! If NS had that, you could make a space station level with people walking on the ceiling, the walls, all over. And the levels are HUGE. You could probably have all of single-player HL in one map! Once I get another $20 together, that's my next buy for sure.
DoD 2.0 is out, and I'm not particularly impressed, although I've only played it for half an hour so far. CS was alright years and years ago, but its getting a little old and stale.
Halo for PC = good idea. Halo looks interesting, but only because of that Warthog Jump movie <!--emo&:D--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'><!--endemo--> That was hilarious.
I couldnt care less for GTA3 for Xbox, as I don't have an Xbox to play it on, but I might be interested in a PC version.
Warcraft 3 looks great, but it looks like a lot of the same-old stuff -- orcs fight humans, humans fight orcs. Except this time, big rocks are falling from the sky and fighting the orcs and humans. Weeiiirrrd.
I'm voting for NS and the new taste of Pepsi Cola!

Here's what Matt had to say:
<b>Matt @ Bungie:</b> <i>We're not entirely sure where the "Halo 1.5" rumor originated, but that's all it is: a rumor. We are not currently working on any add-ons or expansions for Xbox Halo, and it's not on the To-Do List, so to speak.</i>
Would have been really cool though... hey maybe the pc version... <!--emo&;)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'><!--endemo-->
The fact that they're taking their time over kind of implies that it's not just a straight port - I wouldn't be surprised if Xbox-owning PC gamers would be more than tempted to buy the PC version as well.
I'm still hoping it'll be possible to edit maps - the Half-Life engine is getting a little restrictive. <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo-->
Oh, and I want a mod based on the Culture. Knife missiles!
