How Do I........?

How do I create a squad? Highlight a group of marines.........then what?
I saw the map overlay at readyroom.org, not the minimap but the whole map, I do I call this up?

select ->CTRL x

u can do this to structures too. (i.e obs)

the mapoverlay can be opened by <b>C</b> i think (default)

For those who don't use default controls and have changed their crouch key from ctrl to something else, you can make a squad simply by pressing Crouch+numbers 1 through 5 for different squads.

...and then just press the number to select them. Or click on the portrait at the top. Yes, you can group structures (try grouping the observatory to make scanning easier).

also, when you make squads make sure they stay with your squads. Give out squad commands more than individual commands. It will make them stay together, easier to keep track of, will die less cause they have backup and proves you are a good comm
