where is it?
I've been looking for the 2.0 manual, but as far as I can see the NS 2.0 installers just makes a link to the old manual. When are we getting a new one?
I understand that a manual like the first one with lots of graphic design and backstory could take a while. Not needed. Just a text file with a description of how stuff works and some numbers (like walking speed at various levels of celerity, weapon damage, armour system) would already be great.

No more 'ahh theres a fade active, lets base recycle/dig in'
Squads are made by holding duck and pressing a number (1-5).
Hotkeys are now in a 4x3 grid to match the box in the lower right
q|w|e|r
a|s|d|f
z|x|c|v
The round button at the top selects all marines.
I don't know how to give alternate orders either
(assuming u got some 'rines selected)
- right clicking on a soldier gives 'guard soldier' WayPoint
-right clicking on a dropped structure gives 'build structure' WP
- clicking on a built structure gives 'defend target' WP
- clicking on a weldable gives 'weld target' WP
-clicking on a kharaa gives 'attack lifeform'
(this isnt a WP per say, but left clicking on a lift will bring it up/lower it. this is sooo handy for the marines, as it can confuse enemies, block off an enemies path to ure troops, or prep a route for ure team. its very underused IMHO)
you can right click on any useable door/switch/etc. like you said; very useful but very underused.
On a lighter note, anyone know if there's a way to easily scan an area? Finding an obs, clicking on it, and scanning is painful.

assign the observatory to one of your hotgroups (select it and hit Ctrl + a number from 1 to 5)
