<div class="IPBDescription">A incredible little Racing Game</div> I doubt this has been posted before, but there is a free, HIGH quality racing game out, called "Live For Speed". Version 1.0 just came out after MONTHS AND MONTHS of beta testing, so its assured to be good.

Its a lot like Gran Turismo, made in the UK, by a guy who came from Lionhead(known for Black and White and various outstanding games), Scarwen Roberts, and some of his friends, Eric Bailey and Victor van Vlaardingen. They basically made it at their houses, but really, its WAY ahead of most racers that you BUY. Graphics are great too.

    I'm too lazy to get the websites but e racer is another free online racing game, its arcade style though so fans of GT probably wouldnt like it. Another pseudo racing game is clusterball, VERY VERY fun if you can ever get the hang of it, free but you have to register to play.

    Live for Speed is now available! It contains all the content of the earlier demo test, plus:


    a 4wd car, a new fwd car and a quicker rwd car
    two main track areas with several configurations - one city and one purpose built
    an autocross area and a drag strip
    continual online systems, support and patches

    You are able to download a version of S1 and it will work just as the demo test until unlocked online using your in-game username and password, after having paid for S1 online through our bank's system via our website or by one of the other methods. Unlocking will allow you to drive the new cars and tracks and race online and offline.

    Online services provided with no extra charge include full time master servers to link the community, hot lap tables and live statistics and gradually more online and 
    competition systems. There will always be patches and improvements being added just as during the demo test phase.

    Plans have changed a little since our original 4 part announcement and things in the game have become more complex and the track areas more ambitious. As you have seen our estimated release dates had a tendency to slip by a few weeks here and there. Our current plans are to get to our first "Full" version in 3 stages, S1 being the first stage.

    The content of the S2 and S3 stages, and the times when our many planned features will be added, are left undecided now. So much depends on the S1 release, our full focus is on making it as soon and as good as possible, we remain flexible about the future after that. For that reason we ask people to consider the S1 release as a product in itself when they are deciding to pay for it.

    The price of the first stage is £12 (UK pounds, which is approximately 17.20 euros) . This is for the S1 release 
    and online systems. This can be purchased online internationally using a Visa / Mastercard or UK debit card, international bank transfer via PayPal and UK residents can pay by cheque.
