Hello... This is my first post
As the title suggests, I would appreciate some help in tracking a marine as a skulk.
All too often when I attack as a skulk, a dodging marine upsets my 'aim', and after letting out a string of bites, I see him again, and he is already a FEW FEET away and gunning me down while i sit haplessly and watch my health counter go down. It happens ALL THE TIME. I'm plain fed up...
Is there a better way to track a target than just bite and hold and look? And how on earth do you dodge fire?
Suffice to say, my bad skulking ruined my last 1.04 game... <!--emo&--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/mad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='mad.gif'><!--endemo-->

If going head to head with a rine, bounce and i mean heaps jump around like ur a flea on crack. Helps if u dodge aswell.
Learn to wallrun doing it well really screws rines over and just looks damn cool. Dont be afraid to keep circling a hallway via a corkscrew method. Then wait for the reload or just munch his head.
Listening is a big part of ns and helps heaps in determining rine locals etc.
Also it really helps if u get used to finding ur target in between bites.
These are just what i think have helped me personally and i can say im not too shabby a skulk.
Hope these help u, and just test em out and remember the more u play the more u get a hang of it.

Oh yeh welcome to the forums mate.
Ex.: You run towards the back of a marine, you jump,
you bite, he turns around hopping back, you jump following him and bite when you think you can get him, dead marine.
Aiming bites usually gets marines dead much faster as you don't get disoriented much. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
Your bites won't knockback the marines.

You don't hold down bite. Only bite when you're going to hit something. Dodge, dodge, dodge, bite, dodge dodge, dodge, bite, dead marine. Not bitebitebitebite like a rabid dog, get mown down <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->. It's incredible what a difference this makes <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
