Thanks Jaeger..i'll go try that...
By tha way, tha model i downloaded was one of yours...tha Seburo-CX conversion from PE....
NICE job on tha LAM...
No problem...
and thanks...it worked....tha gun is pure whoop-****....i especially like tha chunky LAM unit...lol..
oh, and Owen...would you be up to a challenge to see who is more 133t with MS-paint?....i fancy myself a GOD in it, after years and years of using it....
perhaps a gun design competition?
Btw found out that i already had those dl's <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->
They enable "solid" and "indexed" transparency on HL models.
Sadly theres no additive transparency and the light value changing depending on your location makes "solid " transparency look odd (not like glass).
"indexed" transparency is great for webs, hair and holes with low poly count.
Just look at the DoD helmets having wood sticked in them or all the trees being models instead of world brushes.
Its a big performance boost when used good.

he's only got one skill (maybe) that i don't when it comes to paint.....tha shading...though, it looks like he does what i do...uses paint for most of it, then special effects through corel or photoshop....
i'm not saying his designs are ****, all i'm saying is that i beleive i could beat him in a straight up competition....
i've drawn detailed designs for everything from small electronic devices, to clothing, to weapons, all tha way to ships, fighters, and everything else in between....
so owen...what do ya' say?
