If you plan to evolve up, however, then it's better because it means you don't have to spend the resources evolving again.

Actually, I am usually happy when I cause a Fade to redeem, because I know it only takes 20-30 LMG bullets to cause it to redeem, as opposed to the 60-80 bullets required to kill a carapaced Fade.
