Why Wont The Compile?

(3dsmax)</div> Ok, I converted some models and th ep_models are screwed up if I just use the one that is there, basically he holds it facing down partially and it looks really stupied, as it isnt in his hands. Now, when I go and remake the idle/p_lmg_ref (or whatever) by rotating the weapon and crap, then export it to smd, it doesnt compile. My qestion is why? I am using those decompile/compile tools from the MOdeling101 thread, btw. This also happens when I try to put my own weapons into a p_model that alreadt exist for that weapon. I think the latter problem may have to do with "assigning" a bone to a the weapon. How exactly do I do this in 3dsmax?

This is really frustrating and I do no tunderstand why it wont work
