Well here are the first 2 screenshots I deem ready to release publicly. Lots of work still to be done and the bsp is already 1.14 megs large. The Ready Room's already done but untill I get the custom particles working I don't even dare to show it off. So, here are 2 screenshots showing off a piece of corridor leading from the machine room to the computer room (of which a piece is shown in the 2nd screenshot). The compy room is close to the 1st hive (check the NS Settlement Plan for more info).

edit: the map has only been compiled quickly. No full compile yet.

not bad looking. could use a lot of texture work though. lighting is also a little basic.

What's going on in the background of the first pic, there?
I mean, looks good. I'd say the textures on the wall supports are a bit too stretched vertically, and I'd definitely lose the HL computer textures.

Looking good! I remember really liking this map's layout.

As far as criticism goes:
I would add some supports or some other kind of detail along the long wall in the second pic.. seems a bit plain (but then again you're getting this from someone who doesn't quite understand the concept of limiting detail ) , introduce some colored lighting (subtle), and add a sort of trim or something around the large door in the first pic (I can never make a good door though, so...).

Overall, great work

Lots of details indeedee still to be added yes, I know.
This map is going to be the largest I have ever built so i'm building the main layout first before adding details such as door trims and extra lighting.

And in the first pic you see a subtle machine error. A small alarm, red light and those zaps randomly occur for a nice effect.

For the computers; hey, I needed to do something for now, right?
